Here you can know about the Chinese language teaching materials using at our school.

Everyone knows how many books, manuals, textbooks, exercise books and courses for students who are learning foreign languages.

There are three ways of choosing teaching materials in China and abroad:

The Chinese Language Courses of most of the Chinese Universities use usual, typical and approved programs. Students of the Universities usually spend most of time in teaching themselves. Such kind of curriculum seems to be awkward and superficial. Some of the text-books informations is too old, and doesn't use actually. But if you want you can always find something useful in this big world of words and phrases.

Big and respectable Schools, where are a great attention is paid for new methods of teaching, always update their library of teaching books and materials. Such Schools usually use curriculum, designed by Confucius Institute and the organization of the Han Ban. It helps to follow the latest innovations. But as authority of the Confucius Institute and the organization of the Han Ban seems to be indisputable, sometimes blind imitation doesn't make good for the study.

Another way of teaching is an experimental one. This way usually used by not big schools, who wants to find their own way, they use modern technics, and unique curriculum. This way as interesting, so useful. The only minus it can have is using to much new but shallow methods of teaching instead of proved old-fashioned methods.

How to find the better way of study? It's easy, just need find pros and cons of each way. Our school try to combine the very best from each model.

Concerning books for students, big schools with a great number of students usually use books written in Chinese, sometimes without any translation. The most popular second language, used in books for students is English. There are books with Russian, Japanese, Korean, Arabian.

Some of the language specialist insist, that using mother tongue translation in books for students is not god for the skill of "language guess", and the process of Chinese immersion became not so effective.

Of cause, this is the point, but we suppose for beginners native language in educational process is a must. Special, when the student studying business Chinese, and doesn't want to become a linguist.

So, for the beginners in Chinese, we highly recommend books of "classical" authors, well approved and checked by years. Furthermore we teach by using pure basics of Chinese without any translation. Will it be survival Chinese, or business Chinese, our teacher ready to prepare any topic at students' request.

Practical classes, listening to the Chinese music, watching movies, even playing games help out students to deeply understand Chinese language and culture.
